I enforce clear and fair rules on my social‑media channels to ensure that discussion remains safe, respectful and focused. 

These standards help protect users from abuse, misinformation and disruptive behaviour, supporting an environment where people can engage confidently.

The rules I apply are based on guidance recommended by the Local Government Association, which promotes consistent, transparent and responsible online engagement. 

By upholding these principles, I aim to create a constructive and welcoming space for everyone who chooses to participate.

• Rule 1: Debate and disagreement are welcome on this page, but only if expressed with courtesy, respect and politeness.

• Rule 2: Comments should not contain abuse, harassment, intimidation or threats of any form. 

• Rule 3: No repetitive posting. Repeated comments on unrelated posts will be deleted.
