As your Member of Parliament, my role is to advocate on your behalf and raise issues with Government Departments, the Council, and other organisations where appropriate.
There are clear rules about what MPs can and cannot do, but I will always do my best to support you.
✅ Contact Dudley Council or Sandwell Council with issues you may wish to raise.
✅ Contact other bodies such as housing associations on your behalf.
✅ Raise concerns about crime and anti-social behaviour with the police.
✅ Contact local NHS providers about health matters.
✅ Request an update from the Home Office on an outstanding immigration issue.
✅ Raise issues with Government ministers or in Parliament.
❌ Represent people who don’t live in the Halesowen constituency.
❌ Act on someone's behalf without their explicit consent.
❌ Interfere with ongoing complaint procedures.
I am assisted in constituency casework matters by two full-time and one part-time members of staff.
We’re a small team but we work really hard to support as many people as possible, as quickly as possible.
Because we receive so many requests for assistance, we sometimes have to prioritise urgent cases first. We'll also prioritise personal emails over any automated campaign emails.
I can represent your concerns to Government Departments, the Council, and other relevant organisations. Where appropriate, I will also guide you towards the services and organisations best placed to provide the support you need.
My team aim to respond within 28 days; however we will often repspond sooner to urgent cases.
